As we sit alone,
I watch and wait,
And in my mind I hesitate,
As the words come out they don’t seem clear,
And from my lips you just hear fear,

I can’t make you believe the things I say,
I just want this moment to go away,
So I pass the time with just a kiss,
And in those seconds I felt what I’d missed,

So all along they feed me lies,
And would you believe they came in cries,
I felt so bad,
So I believed,
And what a fool they made of me

So from your face I saw disgust,
And from your mouth I heard distrust,
You said you loved me with every flaw,
You gave me things putting me above all,

I tried to sort out all their stories,
You held me close telling me not to worry,
I laughed later on,
Like a day or two,
They looked at me thinking I was a fool,

I knew their little secret,
I knew their every plan,
But why they wanted to back stab me
Just to have my man,

Ya “best friend” they liked to call me,
And liked to paint my face,
Go to crazy parties all around the place,
Talking about people,
And why they hated them so,
I looked at them cluelessly
and why they’d never know,

Those little tramps got me thinking,
About my man and me leaving,
I never would have known through all of their cries,
I’m so sick and tired of all their painful lies,

So I said were done,
Our friendships through,
Don’t call me anymore
I won’t be calling you,
I won’t go to sleepovers
And stay up late in your bed,
I wont be thinking about ya’ll
And I wish you all were dead,

Just leave me with my man
I know he’ll never lie,
Or I’ll leave him like I left you,
With those tears running down his eyes.
