The Black Smile

Never have i seen such a
horrific smile
a long strip of horror and pain
missing glory
and pain

a black dark shade of nothing
that i nor you
can see, not them
him or me

the smile of the hurt
wounded soul
losing all of emotion
and control

never had i seen
such a sadden tale
with the most grief stricken
smell

is this the devil
i look upon
and face, or is this
defeat

comfort me ole
tired hands and feet
save this world from its insane
humanity

I've seen the depth of the black
the hollow of the tree
of the longing sadness
of the decide
