Hey You. (Stand With Me)

by KeyxMashingxParody   Apr 10, 2009

Hey you.
Person.
Citizen.
Worker.
Mother.
Father.
Son.
Daughter.
I see you.
Even though they don't.
I notice you.
Even though they won't.
I understand.
Believe me or not.
I've been there.
I too have been caught.
Hey you.
Person.
Caucasian.
African American.
Hispanic.
Asian.
Indian.
Mixed.
I see you.
Even though they're blind.
I notice you.
Even though they're fine.
I understand.
Believe me or not.
I've been there.
I too have been caught.

Standing up for my rights,
And what I believe in.
Makes me stronger to say,
I will never give end.

I raise my fist to you,
Workers working for work.
I respect everyone of you,
Despite each governmental quirk.

Stand with me up here,
On this pedestal of truth.
We are the fabric of nature,
We are this nations youth.

You see that over there?
That's called the white house.
You know who lives there?
Nothing but a weak, hypocritical mouse.

We are the felines of society,
We are the leaders this time.
Even though you were ignored,
Let true freedom be kept in mind.

We have the freedom,
We are the freedom.
Governmental powers,
We don't need them.

We run our country,
We say what goes.
I'm tired of working for them,
Being the governments ho.

Forget that shit,
Today is our day.
The day of complete understanding,
For the government we made.

We have freedom,
We are freedom.
Governmental powers,
We don't need them.

Hey you.
Person.
Citizen.
Worker.
Mother.
Father.
Son.
Daughter.
I see you.
Even though they don't.
I notice you.
Even though they won't.
I understand.
Believe me or not.
I've been there.
I too have been caught.
Hey you.
Person.
Caucasian.
African American.
Hispanic.
Asian.
Indian.
Mixed.
I see you.
Even though they're blind.
I notice you.
Even though they're fine.
I understand.
Believe me or not.
I've been there.
I too have been caught.
