Buried Alive

by RemainingSilent   Apr 10, 2009

Things hidden in the dreadful unseen;
Unfamiliar demons chase fears.
Playing, taunting, tormenting.
Darkness eats away security like a moth.
Whispers heighten fear;
Palms sweat, confidence fades.
Eyes sting,
Burning tears streaming.
Confidence fading, fading.
Whimpers echoing and resounding
Off dusty walls.
Cobwebs shiver from breath;
Heaving, choking dust.
Unstable path;
Deteriorating ground.
Night or day indecipherable
As boarded eyes search
And manifesting spirits hunt;
As shaky hands search sufficating air.
Prying, clawing, desperation creeping,
Frantic pounding filling ears.
Screams; Pleading
Thundering.
Hopelessness washing away fear.
Slowly death descends.
