Disaster

by ForsakenBeautyXx   Apr 14, 2009

A pulling sensation on my heart,
Leads me to disaster.

I'm not sure where to go from here,
My heart keeps pounding faster.

I'll take a left and then a right,
These tears I cry, blur my sight.

I'm at the edge of the world,
Nothing to hold me still.

I could walk off right now,
And it wouldn't even matter.

Take one more step,
All these pieces would shatter.

From who I once was,
To who I am now.

A pulling sensation on my heart,
Leads me to a choice.

I could walk off the edge of the world right now,
Or speak my hidden voice.

I wish you could tell me the answer I wish to hear,
But I don't know the answer, so what do I do?

I'll walk off the edge, and spare me,
Or I could speak my voice, and spare you.

....

A pulling sensation on my heart,
Leads me to disaster.

I'm not sure where to go from here,
My heart keeps pounding faster.

I read this one on the discussion board first :) Silly me!
It was a lovely poem, quite depressing though, but I like it, according to the way I feel now, it came like balm for my mind, knowing I ain't the only one feeling that way, but I have hope and if tis is true for you also, then you should have faith too :)
I liked the usage of words here, and the rhyming(I always fall on rhyming I guess) was perfect, and all of that put together left the poem without a flaw.
    Perfect job :)
