A Drop to Remember

by Shinobi   Apr 20, 2009

We could see each other together
For as long as it takes we shall love
Holding hands, or would we rather,
understand the meaning of the white dove

Every time you cross my mind
A drop of rain seems to fall,
We could swim together,
In the greatest ocean of them all

And if every fallen drop resembles a feeling
And the rain would keep pouring down
Than our love would have a different meaning
One that will hold us together, and will never drown

Like the calm after the rain
Rising never so full of joy and bliss
The great rain is once again over
Bringing upon us a period of peace

The weekend is over now
Our joy and love once again depart
Confused, still asking how
Could we be again so far apart

Once again you cross my mind
The great rain falls, never ending
And when the weekend again arrives
We'll swim together, with smiles never fading
