You'll get what you give.

Here, the waves come, and hear the waves go
But where they end up I'll never know
Though
Puddles of water, left behind
Lay loudly along the long shore line

And the tide, is oh so high
A boring grey, reflecting the sky
The same old grey, reflected in your eyes
Please help me drown all these goodbyes

'Cause I have learned
(Like the water-heart's been churned)
You get what you give
Can't give a heart? Then son, you don't got a heart.
So give a break, and you're sure to find it split apart.
(A broken heart, from his fall apart)

And somewhere beyond the clouds
A ray of sunshine
Breaking through the thunder's louds
I've crossed a line

Sea, the waves come, and see the waves go.
Where they end up we'll never know
When you search for love, where is it found?
Silence makes the loudest sound.
