The Unanswered Question

The Unanswered Question

Trumpets play unsure tattoos
Heralding uncertain news
Impatient cosmic call and response

Where do the true answers lie?
When those declared don't satisfy
Announcing unfulfilled needs and wants

Underneath, the notes ring clear
An apt reply will soon appear
Listen, for an answer's there somehow

There is only the eternal Now

If we listen to our inner soul we can find the answers of all questions. Yet some 'unanswered questions' are always there to bother us.
I liked your poem. It's well constructed poem. Depth of the lines are very good. Good work!

What a thought provoking piece you have penned.

Where do the true answers lie?
    When those declared don't satisfy
    Announcing unfulfilled needs and wants

We all have so many wants and needs that remain unfullfilled. So many times sitting and wondering if they ever will be.
Wish I could hear theis piece of music that inspired you.
    Great job!

Title - Wonderful, I know its simply worded, but it is great and it attracts the readers attention, it makes me wonder what this 'unanswered' question may be.

    "Trumpets play unsure tattoos
    Heralding uncertain news
    Impatient cosmic call and response"
`Great word choice, not sure if I fully understand what youre saying here but looking at it youve used some great word choice and even an allieration, also your flow is great.. nice little rhyme scheme here

"Where do the true answers lie?
    When those declared dont satisfy
    Announcing unfulfilled needs and wants"
`You have silly symbols in "don't".. anyways, I love your question, definatly one that you can tell you want an answer for.

    "Underneath, the notes ring clear
An apt reply will soon appear
Listen, for an answers there somehow"
`I thought this was interesting. Beneath the music, maybe the lyrics, you hope to find the answer to your question?

    "The Unanswered Question

`I love it! I didnt even know this was an actual orchestral piece, really loved your inspiration for this poem..

Really interesting poem. I thought you did extremely well with this one, I have no other words.. I thought where you got the inspiration to write this piece was quite original.

    5/5.

I think we all have an unanswered question or that is what we think. We only have to listen to the inner voice each of us possess to find the answer. Well done.

    Loved this one...
I specially loved the first stanza... the metaphors depict such deep... the unaswered questions may remain unanswered ... because the defined answers are itself so vaque...

    loved the write...
