Whenever I'm Upset
Or whenever I feel lonely
I sit to myself
And sink back into memory

I think about this
And i think about that
But there is one memory
that turns into a trap

Your soft gentle eyes
And your bright warming smile
I hear your loud laughter
And feel your comforting hug

I sit and remember
Those fun summer days
Back when i felt happy
In so many ways

Whether it was physical
Or mental/emotional
you help me through the pain
So i wouldn't be miserable

You cheered me up
When I was sad
And held me back
When I was mad

We shared our secrets
And had heart to heart talks
We joked and laughed
You made my summer a blast

We stayed up late
And talked on the phone
We'd hang out everyday
When I'd get home
