Why won't you let me go
You say you know
The pain in me
You say you understand

If you understand so much
Why don't you let me go
You said when you were younger
Given the change you would leave

So why won't you let me go
You keep me here
Trapped in this place
So dark and miserable

If I were to leave
Would things be ok
Would I feel happier
Or at lest a bit more free

Will I ever get a chance
To live me own life
To do my own things
Without you questioning my judgment
