My beautiful darling is gone into a new world

I smiled as i watched you run
You looked so happy
Your beautiful face lightened up my day
I waved goodbye to you as i left for my friend's house
I felt deep down something wasn't right

but i kept walking i couldn't stop
I looked behind me to smile once more
But you weren't in my sight
where were you?

My eyes opened and i was awake in my bed
i stepped out and felt something deep in my heart
I opened my back door and stepped outside

The sky was dark and i called you name
I felt something deep in my heart again
I looked left to right and saw your body lying on the driveway
I ran to your side and felt your cold body
I lifted you high and hugged you tight
you couldn't go i hadn't said goodbye

My eyes filled with tears and i begin to cry
Your eyes weren't eyes anymore
your face wasn't yours
Your heart ever to be heard
My tears are always yours
My love is always there
and my heart is always beating
