Play Time

by Purple   Apr 30, 2009

Am I your favorite,
The toy you do choose?
Or am I forgettable,
When I no longer amuse?

No priority in play things,
Throw them off to the side,
Keep what really matters up;
Toy's maintenance can slide.

Come weekend, come play time,
I'll glitter and glow.
A new trick you may discover,
I'll happily show.

Do you remember me while working?
As your daily life goes?
I'm sitting here waiting,
So your joy I may know.
