Pencil To The Eye

Falling asleep wishing you'd kill me,
I awake wishing I was dead.
When you lay inside arms so deadly
Only your deepest nightmares are fed

The waxing moon and cloud covered stars
Tell a story of broken dreams
Raining down I feel I can relate
To the falling star's final pain

Falling asleep, I wish I couldn't.
To stay awake and dull the pain
Three days without sleep,
I can no longer see the same.

Hallucinations calm and tempting
No more sight, no more thought
Falling asleep, it's false security
I can't believe you're lies were bought.

The waxing moon and cloud covered stars
Tell a story of broken dreams
Raining down I feel I can relate
To the falling star's final pain

Waking up, I have nowhere to go.
Each step's the same direction.
Waking up, I wish I weren't here
Stuck seeing a unknown reflection
