A short story

by xxKelsey   May 6, 2009

< says:
OK, so theres this guy
< says:
and everyday he does the same old thing
< says:
he lives on the top of this tall building, in some cement jungle
< says:
and after a long meaningless day or work
< says:
he waits
< says:
he waits in traffic
< says:
and he waits at every stop light
< says:
hes always patient
< says:
and when he comes to the elevator
< says:
its always occupied
< says:
so he takes the stairs
< says:
and when hes about halfway up
< says:
he looks down
< says:
and thinks whats the point?
< says:
and wants to jump off
< says:
but hes worked so hard to be where he is
< says:
at least
< says:
if he is going to kill himself
< says:
he wants everyone to notice
< says:
so he climbs higher
< says:
and higher
< says:
and by the time he has built up enough courage to jump
< says:
he is faced with his front door
< says:
he sighs
< says:
and opens it.
< says:
the end.
