I close my eyes
I started to run
away from the lies
mistakes cannot be undone

I wanted to flee
but can't you see?
I'm trapped in this hellhole
with no reason of living at all.

I want to reach for the stars
but my wings are full of scars
I'm afraid they'll just burn
I guess this is the point of no return

He is the angel with the scabbed wings
"how is she" is all that he thinks
desperate to get his loved one back
but Death gives him no luck.

He was out of breath
