With every intent to forget fear
we only deny the inevitable near
to cast out the darkness that swallows us whole
we burn on the outside from the flames in our soul
catching a glimpse of our future we sought for new age
we get lost in the chaos of this ever turning page
we see not the pleasures of our lust filled lies
only to remember all of the binding ties
that keep us here locked in this world today
