Short poem #1

Gripped in darkness while swallowed by fear. He feels like he's running but getting nowhere. He stumbles and falls gasping for air. He claws to the surface only finding despair. Without his faith to guide him there, he's left alone to fight his demons. Screaming in his mind, while wailing in doubt. With nothing but a flicker of light to quell the shadows around him. |
