Love, Beauty, Pain, and Hate

Love is the passion no one feels the same,
It feeds the fire in our inner souls.
It helps us connect to one another,
Yet we cannot help it, it's out of our control.

Beauty is the inner and outer self,
It is what makes us unique.
We all feel beautiful differently,
It's the way our hearts speak.

Pain is the knowledge of our minds,
It is what makes us stronger.
We all learn from our painful mistakes,
It helps us hold on a little longer.

Hatred is the string tearing apart,
It can destroy ones love and trust.
By hating we gain nothing,
But loathing and self disgust.

These emotions are what make us human,
For we all feel them every day.
We wouldn't be our normal selves,
If we felt love, beauty, pain, and hatred any other way.
