Prayer To You

I bow my head down
As I slowly begin to pray
â??God, can you help me
Get through another day?

To open my eyes in the morning
And smile when I see her face
To not break down in front of her
But show her my strong faith.

Can you help me show my love,
in ways that I have not?
To let her know I remember
the memories I haven't forgot.

Can you give me the strength
to piece my heart together again?
To have the courage inside of me
To let my world slowly mend.

God, I pray to you above
With all the love in my soul
To give my beautiful nanna
All the love I'll ever know.

I pray to you this day
With my heart, my soul, and my mind
Keep my nanna safe in your arms
As your Heaven, she will find.

Let her know I love her
And everything she's done
The person that she has made me
And the person I will become.

I end this prayer now
With the strength you give me tonight
To wake up the next day
Willing to put up a fight
