The End of Man

by Michael Shrawder   May 28, 2009

Her soft touch
Scorches the flesh of purity

A glimpse
Lasting impression
A city under judgment

Her cold lips destroy
Everything I've created
Corrupting everything I've worked for

She's compromised all our worth
And I will not forget this
-But we will never learn

Wall's fall
Open's the weakness of man
-The heart

Defenseless
-She'll go for the throat

The facade ceases-
Corpses line her lips
Cities burn in her eyes
Chaste hung from her hair

Allure disintegrates
-Left behind; a soul-less cadaver

Temptation is never worth it.
