Sleepless Slumber

by Lesslovedthanloathed   May 30, 2009

The darkness creeps our from the shadows,
It overtakes my body.
I can't control my thoughts
And slowly I fall into sleepless slumber.

Bloody images flash before me,
They scream, they cry at my wrath,
They thought I wouldn't break.
But now I've had enough.

These hand I've soaked in blood,
My sins won't wash away.
Bloody hearts in jars,
Warn you to stay away.

The smell of blood excites me,
I can't get enough.
No one understands me,
They don't know why I kill.

The darkness swallows my conscious,
Until I'm but a lifeless shell.
I forget my friends and family,
And slowly I fall into sleepless slumber.
