How can i ever feel alone?
When the sun shines in the morn.
And the birds sing to wake me up.
And i feel like a newborn.

How can i ever complain?
While the sky seems so blue.
And the sound of the waves so calming.
And life again is true.

How can i close my eyes?
While colorful fishes swim in the stream.
And children laugh and play.
As i lay on the grass and dream.

How can i turn away from life?
While the breeze flirts with my hair.
And the ocean soaks my feet.
While the butterflies surround the air.

You see, mother nature, is always there.
No matter how lonely we feel.
She has developed with us an affair.
And a relationship more than real.

How can we ever give up?
When handicapped children laugh and smile?
And the journey of life
Suddenly seems worthwhile.

Why is it that we learn too late
That life is as beautiful as we make it to be?
Do we have to sense death
To really begin to see?

As long as the sky is blue.
Then life remains true.
And as long as the sun will shine.
We should no longer whine.

And as long as the birds keep chirping.
To remind us of life's tunes.
Then we should keep shining.
Like the beautiful midnight moon.

And how can we ever feel alone
