I can still feel your hand on my back
i can still hear you cheering me up when i was sad
i can still see that smile that made everything perfect
i can still feel like I'm the little kid between your arms
i can still hear your laugh every time i fall on my ass
i can still see your shade hiding in my room to scare me
i remember how proudly you used to say i was your son
i remember how you taught me to never give up
i remember how you made all of us feel so important
i will never forget anything you have thought me
i will never forget that fishing weekend we spent together when you should have been in an important meeting
i will never forget the look in your eyes full of happy tears when you was clapping at me at a tournament
i cant understand why you had to go
i cant understand why we cant be together anymore
i cant understand why I'm still here and not with you
you will always live in my heart
you will always be a part of my life
you will always be the reason i became who i am now.
you will always be... my dad.

wherever you are, thank you for everything you taught me, as a doctor and as a human... thank you for rising me the way you did, for teaching me that true friends are not who are with you in good, but who are with you in the worst. for teaching me that the only time you should look down to anyone... is when you will help them to stand back up, and for teaching me how a father should be.
