This was such a sad piece. I felt so many strong emotions when I read this. I love how you wrote this, it was like a story. And I thank you so much for sharing it with us. The imagery was great and made everything easy to understand. Very nice work. I also like the periodic syntax. Keep it up. Nik

First of thank you for commenting on my poem 'why' it's very appreciated.
Secondly, this poem is very touching especially to me as I have just lost a co-worker and a close friend to cancer just last week so I know exactly what you're going through.
Very emotional and powerful piece, 5/5. Em

A very warm dedication for your friend. Thank you for the story. I'm glad you found a release, of a kind, here. It's what poery is for. I hope you continue to write on. I would be glad to read more from you. Good luck.

An awsome tribute to a woman who touched many hearts it appears.

May we all strive to do the same and touch others hearts as well.

A beautiful dedication. For sure, where ever she is right now, she'll love this, and would truly appreciate it. Good job!

I love this poem, it's really sweet and from the heart. There's a lady I met at my work (she's left to go to another job) but I consider her a good friend. All in the office call her Mother. As soon as I read this I thought if anything would happen to her it would be devastating. Beautiful words
