18 Years of this!

How does it feel to always be so empty,
Yet you burn inside from all the anger and the pain.
I asked you if you knew who you were anymore,
Expression passed you face, as you walked away.

Because you don't like yourself, do you?
You don't like how you look, how you feel, how you act,
You want to stop saying the things that flow from your mouth,
You want to apologize and take it all back.

You hate the way you feel when people look at you,
People say that you're beautiful but you can't believe it.
You won't believe it, But it isn't true, Not in your eyes.
You hate the mirror. You want perfection. But every step forwards, seems like the goal is even farther away.

You want the negative thoughts to leave you,
You want them to go bother someone else,
Because you've had 18 years of this, Isnt that enough?!
