Christine

by Lolpez   Jun 21, 2009

Pulsing red
Often does it stop
When your light penetrates
The eye

Relish the cold
So I can hold you in my arms
And your warmth takes over
The mind

Surging blood
An urgent need
When your fire consumes
The Soul

An old cliche
But as true as ever
With you I am finally whole

The Light
The Warmth
The Fire
The energy I've seen

I don't think I could ever stop loving
And ever stop needing
My Christine

Wow. I have to say, I only read this because of the title, my baby sisters mum is named Christine, but i was quite suprised to find this piece of work. I love the way your words are so striking and bold, even while being sung so softly. Im adding you to my favourties.
