Hurry Home

by Helene   Jun 24, 2009

Hurry home my love,
Into my arms,
To rest by me forever,
For I am but half a human now,
Where we are not together.
Hurry home my love,
Into my heart,
That silently awaits you,
I long for rest I cannot have,
Until I rest beside you.

Hurry home, my love,
To sing for me,
For only your voice brings peace in mind,
Hurry home before
I am merely an echo,
Of the love you had to leave behind.
Hurry home my love,
I fade away,
But never shall you fade for me,
You are more vivid in my dreams,
Forever in my memory.

Hurry home my love,
Across the Sea,
Across the Mountains that keeps you from me,
Across the World so infinite,
In to my heart once more,
And love me like never before.

Hurry home, my love.
