Everybody loves you.

by Helene   Sep 6, 2009

Everybody loves you;
But when the light casts shadows on your face,
I see the secret, darker place,
And everybody except from me,
miss the sight of the monster
you're lurking to be.

And oh so smiley, charming you,
I've seen what you can turn in to,
And what scares me the most is
knowing that no one,
Would ever believe me if I told them
To run.

And everybody loves you;
Isn't that a blast,
When your grin turns to evil
Ever so fast,
And nobody sees it,
catches the lie,
For no one has ever been closer
Than I.
