Daddy's little princess

by Not Enough   Jun 29, 2009

Daddy's little princess
Daddy's shooting star
Daddy's iron fists
Made the perfect scar

Look at the little girl
See a perfect child
You could never tell
Even when she smiled

That the night before
Daddy's iron fists
Laid upon her face
Broke her little wrists

She had a lot of clothes
To cover up her skin
In daddy's little games
She could never win

Daddy's little princess
Daddy's shooting star
Daddy's riding skills
Made the biggest scar

Sneaking In her room
Every night, everyday
Daddy's little games
Were too hard to play

She was way too small
Daddy just couldn't fit
That didn't stop him
She got a little split

Blood didn't stop him
Nothing ever could
Daddy's little princess
Was just so damn good

Daddy's little princess
Daddy's shooting star
Daddy's ecstasy pills
Went way too far

He chopped it up
He called it fairy dust
She didn't want to eat it
He said that she must

He said it was yummy
He said it was dessert
Daddy's little princess
Put it in cherry yogurt

This time was different
He added a little more
Mistake on daddy's part
She just lay on the floor

Daddy's little princess
Daddy's shooting star
Daddy's iron fists
Cause her pain no more

    Hi! Soda,
I find poems and verse with such graphic details very disturbing and even more so when I find it written by a 14 year old. Unfortunately as you know this happens daily in our world though I am glad to say good things happen more often only they are very rarely given the headlines they deserve.
Your poem is very well written with great flow and meter it surprised me that a young girl of 14 could write with such an old head very well done, excellent 5/5 Ray S
