Not Again...

by Cate Rock   Jul 7, 2009

Not again daddy...

Put the hand down.

Not again mommy...

Not again, today.

Scars on my arms...
Drug knifes along my legs,
Cuts seeming old...
Done from family drunk on kegs.

Locked out of moms house...
Many years ago,
Still have the scares and bruises,
All lined on my arms and back to show.

Not again daddy,

I promise not to say it any more.

;I half way scream reaching and scractching for the door.

Mommy don't do it

Drop the vase...

;As i run around away from this juvenile chase.

I cry secretly every single night...
I lie awake in honest, god forbidden fright.

Afraid of walking out my bedroom door.
Afraid of looking at anyone anymore...

((For my friend))
