Desperation

by Julie   Jul 13, 2009

She puts her hair in pigtails
and then she goes to sleep
she wanted to look pretty
in case you took a peek
her days and nights grow longer
as your scent goes away
and every day she wishes...
wishes that you were here
and every night she screams
wishing she could disappear
this life she's living
is getting way too old
you left her
and now her heart has turned to stone
the hole in her chest has gotten so big
why did you leave her and why does it sting
her tears fall around her
like rain to a flower
look at her
watch her
it's her desperation hour
