It really is time

by Sweetdream   Jul 16, 2009

I'm saying hello to goodbye,
Finally wiping my tears dry,
Admitting it's all gone awry,
And walking away from you.

Bullshit is all you spew,
Why is it you never knew?
It was so easy to see through,
And now you don't get to be upset.

After treating me like some little pet,
How could you expect me to forget?
The way you always just let me fret,
What else could you expect?

When you showed such a lack of respect,
Of course I was going to disconnect,
And now there is nothing to interject,
That could justify the way you treated me.

But you alone would disagree,
Because you alone could never see,
No matter how much or how loud I plea,
What it was that I really need.

It's too late; you've done the deed,
Behaving selfishly and acting upon greed,
And now that I've seen this I can't proceed,
Not after I gave you all that I've got,

While you selfishly let my heart twist and knot,
Acting like my love could just be bought,
but love is no longer rooting me to this spot,
And now there is no way I can deny,

It really is time to say hello to goodbye.

He who brings you pain, helps you learn. The end of pain, awakens strength.

Truly touching. The words cut deeper than any knife and pierce straight through the soul. Truly Amazing!
