Johnny's Coming Home

by Josh   Jul 19, 2009

Lighthouse show me the way...right now...cause I don't know anything...
Why god? Why must we wilt?
No god would take him so soon...
Why so soon?
Are we on borrowed time?
Are we alone? Or are we blind?
Are we meant to see through ocean's eyes?
Did anyone ever care? Maybe we never will...but all I know is right now I'm coming down from this haze
Why can't anyone get ahead in this race?
Maybe we should use tea leaves with arsenic in this place...a place with no windows, no photographs 'cause it's not our home, on amber wings we let go, fleeing from the snow...summer kisses leave too soon caught in needles and ivory you could have overdosed on me!! Whenever your light goes out close your eyes, make your own light..sunlight, holding hands forget about hourglass sand, I took it and ran...I a simply flesh and boe and man...with a pack of cigarettes and a menagerie of empty beer cans...
