Ending

by victoria   Jul 21, 2009

Its a swell ending for destruction,
The silence that fills us all,
The ending we hoped and imagined,
To feel nothing at all.

Your eyes they watch your body,
The shell of what you were,
You wonder how all this time,
You were trapped inside its barrier,
(oh)
What a bitter-sweet ending,
To finally feel again,
As the light that has been hiding from you,
Comes out and guides your way again,
Isn't it funny?
How we all search for the meaning of life,
But in the end its death that gives us its meaning,
We all but walk into its hands,
because thats our final piece of living.
