Beautiful Lies

You're not interested as far as I can see
You've ignored me but now want my sympathy
I know very well that I'm being used
You have forced me to pick and choose
Do I leave you in all of your misery?
Or allow you to take every piece of me?
You've stripped me down with all that you've done
And now turn away since you've had all your fun
You've left me in pieces lying on the ground
Ripped out my heart, all the while I've been bound
I know I'm not helpless, I just can't turn away
I can't let you hurt yourself while I promised I'd stay
I have nothing left but keep giving my all
Only in hopes that someday you won't fall
I feel like a flower choked out by a weed
You've taken everything, what more do you need?
I'm forced to cover pain with a disguise
Why'd I believe all those beautiful lies?

    I like the concept and the idea, but the rhyming scheme just seemed a little forced in areas, in my opinion, I mean you don't have to listen to me, but it just didn't flow very well in my head, unless that was your intention. I like it though.
