Repair Me.

by Learning2Breathe   Aug 4, 2009

Imagine this house
Without any laughter
And smiles that faded
Shortly there after.

Like flowers that bloom
Through broken debris
Envision a match
That wasn't meant to be.

The light has grown dim
Since that holiday night
When the screaming began
And nothing seemed right.

Their promise is drowning
In a pool of lies
And anger is rising
From the tangled disguise.

The joy is scarce
They can no longer pretend
Our hearts are empty
I'm not sure they can mend.

I don't know you, but I understand what you're saying.

Hang in there, life gets better.
