His Life Lesson

by Kemmy Rose   Aug 4, 2009

A girl in the night cuddled up to her Teddy...
Daddy asks if she's ready.

Yes sir. she replies with a sparkle in her eyes.

He tells of a story, as old as time : )
He tells his story in rhythm and time.

A far away place...
A place of few race...

A baby boy plays with his toy on the Nile...
A toy boat a red string tied around his throat...

He is marked.

Never a good sign...
later that day he was floating up on cloud nine.

How daddy put it: Life is a treasure... its not all about one's pleasure...

Life is good life is bad... but all of life is worth living if u ask dad :)

***Okay, it wasn't a teddy, and it was not my dad. In fact it was my older brother, but when I was little he took care of me like he was my father.***
