Fear

by Axel Cruz   Aug 6, 2009

I had awaken yesterday,
With sweat running down my forehead.
My breathing was heaving,
The room spinning,
Everything seemed out of placed.

I had a dream,
A dream that wasn't just a dream,
But a nightmare.
A nightmare that told me,
You weren't by my side.

My eyes were getting teary,
My heart accelerated faster than the fastest car.
At the same time wanting to rip itself into many pieces.
As if no one out there was good enough for it.
My breath all of the sudden was gone.

If you weren't by me
I was going to die there and then.
Thats where I saw you,
Laying there next to me.
You seemed so peaceful and undisturbed.

As if there was nothing to worry,
Nothing to think about,
Nothing and no one to fight against,
And only with that,
Did all of my fears went away.
