This is full of such sadness. I'm so sorry if this is true. Yet in life we all lose the ones we're close to eventually and its the most difficult thing we have to go through. But in time things get better. Take care.

In my relationship with you I felt so many different things, Cindy and it ended with feeling: "why don't you move on from this?"
but at long last I have realized that you can't..maybe you would want to, but you can't.
I feel very sorry for you that your life has come to a standstill because of that fatal day so long ago and wish it could have been different for you...

Very emotional write, something we all know you for.

nice rhyme, you did a good job with this form..except for this:

"Laying now beneath dark, cold ground"

there's something wrong with this line..
it's like you omitted a "the" just to follow the syllable count, which made the ending sound a little bit shaky..
Maybe you should place "the" instead of "cold" or "dark"..I see you wrote both cold and dark just for the emphasis.

Anyway this is just a point of view :)
