You change me

by Stacey   Aug 12, 2009

Every now and then we see people come and people go,
We must understand it's reality, and not some made up show.
You can always make me laugh, and you can make me cry,
But never do I want to hear that you have ever told a lie.
Mistakes are the risk that every now and then we take,
Forgiveness is the word that we should not break.
Show me your soul and let me in,
And this new story will only begin.

Hold me tight and tell me stories of your past
Give me that reassurance that we will surely last.
Compare our scars from our tragic nightmares known as our lives.
And tell me there is more to life, then a knife to which we'd thrive.
People in our lives surely fade away, feeling like I'm all alone,
Then you come and tell me there is no room for fear to rome.
