Rain.

by Sadespair   Aug 16, 2009

Through the darkest of storms
The closed doors open
Comforting to know

Your not alone
Let the water hit your face
Forget the fact you've been replaced

Embrace the coldness in the air
Become stiff && still without a care
kiss the rain, by letting go

You are released, No longer being choked
The pitter patter of the rain
Would drive any person insane
Somehow you feel at ease

The rain is gone
The sunshine comes
The rainbow glows

You gain hope.

    This seems familiar >_>

thought you'd like more comments on it so here i go!

okay, like i mentioned for the contest, i love every idea about rain. its just so soothing, calm and cleansing. it was a bit different feeling you get, which is fine. i gave you a 4... (some jerk gave you a 1 -_-)

anyway, i couldn't give you a 5 because... i hate doing this but i also want to be constructive. it had a 3 stanza throughout most of it, which was different. but you didn't stay with it 0_o. you switched to a 4 stanza in the 4th paragraph.

what i did like about this was the ending. one single line. it wraps the feeling of hope and seeing through a storm pretty well. quirky, but still good. keep it up ^_^
