De-me-sis

by Cam M   Aug 21, 2009

Wailing brokered the silence, paid
moaning fed human lusts, laid
beauty capered in the dusk, last
peurility awash with children, fast

de-me-sis, went the cry
de-me-sis, goes the call
de-me-sis, as we fall
de-me-sis, a lift we scry

dancing shatters a peace, empty
wheels filling the chimney, fractured
global dissonance torn a wake, blast
human consonants a cognomen, vast

de-me-sis, the pen doth leak
de-me-sis, drink the brew
de-me-sis, this filth a stew
de-me-sis, lost to the meek
