Crimson Darkness

by Stacey de Luna   Aug 22, 2009

I watch the sun as it begins to set
As my heart burns from the flames of regret
A crimson river flows from my hand
My whole body trembles as I try to stand
I feel every part of my body go numb
While I wait for the rolling darkness to come
My head starts to spin as I watch the blood flow
My fingers twitch as the slit slowly grows
Sorrow wells up inside of my soul
My muscles lose all sense of control
My vision blurs as I fall to the ground
The sky goes dark and I'm left with no sound
I feel myself float into the darkest black
The dark is coming; there is no going back
I sink down into the black abyss
And now I know I no longer exist
