A Flame To Doubt

by Indian Comma Bean   Aug 31, 2009

Tear drops glitter, staining time,
Time that lost direction in your mind.
The stars above evoke aching hearts,
Subtly reminding sorrow of its dues.

A symphony of voiceless thoughts
Cascade upon empty pages,
Torn away. All the while lips fade,
Singing plaintive tales of observation.

Silent hues of emotion swim in moonlight,
While frozen sentiments begin to thaw,
Nostalgia drips from ghostly eyes,
Disguised, remaining just another mirror -

We find hope within the coming day.
