The Real You

I'll always love you,
Even though i'm not with you,
you gave mee hope,
you helped mee cope,

you gave mee happiness,
you gave mee freedom,
when she came and took you,
I tired so hard to still be with you,

You will never know ,
how much you meant to mee,
I had noone to talk too
you were my only friend

i didn't have no help
my life was becoming a living hell
i watch you walk around with her
you didn't even remember mee amymore

That night her friends jumped mee
As i layed in my blood, i saw you face
I saw you laughing, i saw you smile
As my tears slid down my cheeks

I remebered all the times you spent with mee
All the times growing up together
how you didn't care what people thought
or how many times we fought

you were my best friend
you always said we'll be together
but look at us now
You still make fun of mee

you still pretend you don't know mee
I still wish that girl never came
So everything would still be the same
But i'll always love you

Because i know you, the real you...

    It's always horrible when a friend turns their back on you, not only that but stands there laughing when you get beat up by their new friends. I hope this isn't based on a situation you were in. Wonderful write, 5/5. Em

    Your poem brought tears to me eyes. I can see it came from your heart, so beautiful. Please know your not the only one suffering a loss like you are. Cuz i feel the same. As i read your poem, i pictured everything. And i thought about my loss and relieved to know i'm not the only one. I'm hurting just as you are. Keep up the nice work!
