Without You, I'd Be Nothing, No One, None

by Saeki Toru   Jun 15, 2004

I've known you for more than a year now
We've been best friends through it all
I still can't believe how long it's been
Since the last time that I've called

You helped me out through thick and thin
Helped me start a-new
I'm grateful for everything, outside and in
You say I've done the same for you

I've never met you in person
But why should that matter?
You're the best friend I've ever had
Repairer of a heart
A heart that was shattered

I've known you for a year now
What else is there to say?
Besides the fact that you're like a sister
In every single way

I've known you for more than a year now
I hope it stays the same
Because I don't know what I'd do
If our friendship was to ever change

Unsure of what's to come ahead
But I know you'll always be there
And I'll remember what you've said
I'll remember that you care

I've known you for more than a year now
This poem's finally done
I dedicate this to you, friend
Without you, I'd be nothing, no one, none
