How ii would forget

So high up now
i wish i could fly
id fly away from here
with no pointless goodbyes

id learn to forget everything
my past future and dreams
id forget about the smiles
i faked to stop the screams

i wouldnt remember their love
because i know its fake
id forget about the hate
and all else i couldnt take

id overlook the tears
they put on for the crowd
and relish in the smiles
theyd wear when noones around

id dream about the friends
i wished i had had
i cant forget the non existant
for that i should be glad

so high up now
i ask myself for honesty
would i remember anything
or would i stick to this policy
