Forgetting Memories To Remember

by Indian Comma Bean   Sep 14, 2009

Off the coast of astral planes,
I find the secret to my pains,
Where I stand within the open space,
I find I am surrounded by your face.
Solemn as you are,
It won't be to far
Until my mind lands,
Thoughts disrupting sleeping sands.
Scream! Anything will do,
Any little tear will do.

Running in circles on clouds of sorrow,
I find my eyes pleading time to borrow,
As fallen leaves sit alone on the earth
Withering, I to see little worth
In man's existence,
With quiet persistence
We bathe in emotion,
Minds consuming lies of devotion.
Cry! For the world is a dark place,
And the steps we take will not erase.
Live! Anything you do, believe
In what you've left to leave.

Anything will do,
For every little tear is through.
