Abstract To Insanity...

by RK   Sep 15, 2009

You can take from here
My eyes, my tongue, my ears
And the souls that tore
My body apart would still
Feel the same numbness I felt before
Since the last eternity...

I recall the fire watching me
From another oblivion;
The sun was as bruised
And as pale as the moon...
In the jackal nights
The virgin wolf still
Craved for the serpent's potion;
Foxes chewed my bone,
Hornets in my heart
Until a butterfly soughed
In some kind of dream -
There once a long ago
I wreathed an iris
To the envy of moths...

Trees are kneeling still
At prayers of dawn
Corpses lay dormant
By shield of paradise
Where I point boredom
Over index of God
And all my silence
Is left for the sky...

    You create great imagery. Work on your flow/rhythm and you'll be set.
