Wanderlust

by Jackie Patterson   Sep 16, 2009

Listen do you hear the waves,
The crashing smashing bashing waves?
This is the noise that she craves
To hear the sounds of the waves
To travel across on open seas
To feel the gustfull breeze
The feeling of traveling somewhere new
What it would be like to travel that avenue
The trees, the birds and new skies,
To look upon as you travel by
As you reach your destination
Your wanderlust gets the better of your creation
You wander off to somewhere far
When you know not where you are
Travel on and you will find
That no where can your home hide
When you look deep down inside
You realize home is where you are
So let your wanderlust travel you far
For your journey is not where you are
